I really like this bed for my kids, maybe the same name but with the bottom a twin bed too. Has anyone had this bed? What do you guys think about this. Also what age did you get bunk beds? (of course I cant get it now my kids are 15 months and 29 months)

Or do you think 2 twin beds would be better? I am stuck between the two... bunks safe space, but I think my kids would argue over who gets top.... I could let them take turns, but not sure how that would go since I would want my OWN bed. What are you alls oppions?

Something was beeping. Something loud and annoying and he couldn’t figure out what it was. He rolled over and fumbled for the alarm. With a groan he shut it off and buried his face back in the pillow.

“Late night?” James poked his head out from the bunk above him and grinned. “That’s why you don’t do a whole research paper in one night. What time did you go to bed anyway?” He climbed down the ladder and stretched out. Glancing back at his sleeping roommate, he walked over and cracked the blinds.

Liam squinted at the harsh morning light. “What time is it?”

“Almost 7.” He pushed up, hitting his head on the bed board above . Rubbing it, he kicked the covers down and stood up. “7?”

James slung a towel over his shoulder and slipped on his shower shoes. “Yup. And don’t forget, Rachel’s going to be in homeroom giving her speech today. Don’t want to be late for that.” Oh yeah. Rachel. Rachel Willion. Smart. Gorgeous. Funny. And definitely not interested in me like that. They had been best friends since grade school. They’d gone through a series of boarding schools together, somehow always managing to end up with one another. He’d liked her for years, yet never made a move, afraid to lose what they did have. Better safe than sorry. He pulled a t-shirt over his head and grabbed his shower stuff. James was waiting for him at the door. In the hall the other boys were getting up and ready.

I own a bunk bed set but can't put it together since the steps are broken, my bunk bed frame is in perfect condition and would like it to be set up as it supposed to be before the stairs broke. At what age is a child ready to sleep on the top of bunk beds?

I have 4 children and 3 bedrooms in my home. 3 of my children are boys and we have one of them sharing a room with my daughter. They won't be able to share for too much longer. We have a set of bunk beds that are separated at the moment in one bedroom that my other 2 boys share. I will need to make room for our 3rd boy to move in within about a year. we have debated on whether or not we should put up the bunk beds in a few months. One of my boys will be 3 in december and wants to sleep on the top bunk, but I'm not sure he is ready. We have a guard rail that came with the beds that can be put up and runs the whole length of the bed. When do you think a child is ready for the top bunk?
I wanted to add that my son who will be 3 in december is already 3 feet tall and advanced in his development. I could have had him in preschool this school year if he was fully potty trained. We have him sleeping in one of the twin beds from the bunks without a guard rail and he hasn't fallen out of it. He is tall for his age so we have had him in a twin bed since he turned 2. He is also a very good climber and not one bit afraid of heights.

my sisters friend is 16 and she likes a guy at 20 .. i mean she's like hugged/kissed him and everything. everytime shes out with him and friends she (my sisters friend), him and two others always go to his house... and they like just lie on the bottom bed of the bunk and just hug into each other. she told him she was 17 .. and shes scared if he finds out shes 16 he wont like her. Does 4 years really make a difference?

I remember back when I was about 6 or 7 years old, i bunked school and was standing in the lounge looking out the front window onto the porch. A evil little 'demon' appeared. I 'kakked' myself and hid under the bed. This sight was the cause of many sleepness nights but eventually i put it behind me. Last week a friend was visiting at work and we sat after hours chatting and listening to music. I went to put the volume louder and as i turned I had a feeling of extreme unease. She screamed a split second later and when I got ot her, she was backing away from something. Afterwards she described tome what she saw and i'm pretty sure it was the same thing from y childhood. I have felt this feeling once before and it feels evil. Usually the 'spirits' i feel at work are kind and notmalevolentt at all, bu this particular one is very much so. Why would it show up and why now after so many years???

Ok, so I like this guy and hes a year and a few months older then me and my brothers best friend. He comes here a lot and we flirt, A LOT. I wanna know if he likes me though.
Usually when he comes over the first thing he does is come into my room and mess it up as a joke and when he leaves he "reminds me" that i left the door open if the AC is on, as a joke.
He usually teases me a lot and laughs and calls me an idiot and he pushes me and pulls me and touches my arm and stuff. He makes me laugh A LOT and hes not scared to just come into my room without my brother. We've slept in the same bed twice BUT DID NOTHING we're only 14 and 15 and my brother was below us on the bunk. We were quite squashed and he would push me and pinch me and when I asked him to rub my back cos i had a pinched nerve in my shoulder, he did it. and he had to take his money and stuff down so he put he leg over and sorta sat on me with one leg on each side if you know what i mean and he "mistakingly" touches my ass or my boobs. i snuggle up to him and put my arm on his chest and he doesnt seem to mind either and he sometimes awkardly puts his arm around me. he also speaks to me A LOT on skype and MSN and is always the one to first talk.. he was dared to kiss me once but he told me he would have but he was scared because it was in front of my bro and since theyre best friends and im his sister its a lttle weird but ive asked my bro if its ok if we go out and he said yeah.
SO, does he like me?
&& should I try kiss him when we're alone together or should i not just in case?

Just moved into small apartment, have WAY too much stuff for my girls room, HELP!!!?

I moved from a 3 BR apartment into a 2BR apartment. My girls are sharing a room now. I managed to get rid of a lot of their stuff already, but now their room looks too cluttered with their bunk bed, bookshelf, guinea pig cage and their toy organizer shelf thing.

The bunk beds have two huge (and heavy) wooden pull out drawers underneath. Generally, they have been kept empty because they're SO heavy for my 4 year old to pull out, though my 8 year old has no problem. But, as people tell me, it is wasted space if I don't use it.

I want to get rid of the toy organizer and just put the toys under the bed. So, should I eliminate the drawers and just use bins for their toys, but keep them under the bed? Should I keep the drawers and put the toys inside it? I would like to put blankets/sheets etc in one drawer instead of on the shelf in the closet because there is not a lot of space.

When I get some money I want to redo the girls room to make it pretty and nice, but for now I cant afford to but I stll dont want it looking cluttered and junky and smaller than it already is! Please, any decirators, organizers, etc Id appreciate your input. thanks!

bed bugs PLEASE read & replie, QUICK!!?

my brother has been living with his friend & there house is infested with bed bugs. My brother had to throw out tons of clothes & everything.
The othere night, actully last night, my bro slept over. went on the couch, the top bunk, & my moms bed!! Today i actully started to move into my sis's room, with the bunk bed. i used the sheets my brother used, not thinking. Then when i was about to go to sleep. i relized, Same sheets, same pillows, same blankets!! i got all paranoid, & felt like bed bugs where coming into my skin as i thought. Know im in my computer room, scared to death about where to sleep ( ps school is in less than 2 days ) . i dont know if were already infested. Heres some questions :
