Question: For a teen girl's room, which do you think is better? A medieval/Gothic style, or a Japanese style?

I'm 14 and I just per fer light colors. So I would go with the Japanese style. You usually feel more awake with brighter colors. like my room is bright green & has blue curtains and a pink light. So its bright so i'm not tired when doing my homework. :] hope i helped :D

Medieval/Gothic's a nice place to visit (Renn Faires?) but it's too intense to live there.

Go with the Japanese, the Zen will do you good.

do both!!!!
get some dark shadow japanease trees and figures like with rod iron or paint it black on your darker RED room( dont use a light red, use a dark red) and get a teen comforter with a white and black colors in it with japanease flowers or ones that look like it, decorate your room with black and white paper lanterns and black picture frames with obvioulsy pictures in them! it will look cute but you just have to look out at stores and see if it feels japaneasey
