well why dont you paint 3 walls you most walls your favorite color and leave one wall and paint it white and then you can paint on it like lyrics or something or shapes or drawings and base your room around that :)

You have a fantastic size room and a great window. Honestly your furniture is not that bad. The bed needs to go though.

Large objects on the wall will make the room feel more organized. Click Here ?$zm$ Is an example of what you can do with inexpensive Walmart cubes. These would look great on both sides of your window with the seat between.

The wall to the right as you enter your room would be a great place for all your art and hangings. A combination of corkboard and blackboard paint and restricting the items to that wall will make it neater in your room. Head to a thrift shop and buy a bunch of frames to paint in the silver too. Put the empty frames on the corkboard and tack your pictures inside. Click Here

For the room itself ..Larger items look better then tiny ones. Limit the amount of small items.

I would go with a double not a queen sized bed. A double bed mattress is 54 x 75 as opposed to 60 x 80 that does not count the frame. Add 4" to the length and 8" to the length for a foot board then measure it out in your room and see what works best.
